Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong
is an arcade game created by Nintendo in 1981. This is a primitive game platforms genre that focuses on controlling the character on a series of platforms while avoiding obstacles. The story is not very complex, but it works for the time. The game is Mario (in the game, Jumpman) must rescue a lady who had been captured by a huge ape called Donkey Kong. These two characters have become two of the characters from Nintendo's famosos.Este game was the latest effort by the Japanese company to successfully penetrate the North American market. Hiroshi Yamauchi, president of Nintendo, game design assigned to Shigeru Miyamoto. Based on this multiple inspirations, including Popeye and King Kong, Miyamoto created the scenario and designed the game, with the head of Nintendo systems, Gunpei Yokoi. These two men created a new graphic using characterization techniques, including scenes between levels to advance the game's story, integrating in it. Despite the doubts raised by members of Nintendo America, Donkey Kong was a great success in North America and Japan. Nintendo authorized Coleco for me to do the home versions on different platforms. Other companies were limited to making games with the same scheme to avoid paying Nintendo for their idea. The characters created by Miyamoto appeared in multiple places, such as cereal boxes and cartoons. Universal City Studios sued Nintendo Donkey Kong grounds that it violated the copyright of King Kong, but such claim was unsuccessful. The success of this game put Nintendo in a prime position to dominate the video game market during the 80s and early 90s
